About The Octagon Studios

The Octagon Studios has been delivering exceptional training to pupils of all ages, in the performing arts since 1997.

We have over 70 dance and musical theatre classes a week, as well as music tuition for many instruments, which are all run from our Studios located on The High Street, Ely. We have two Dance Studios, both of which have sprung floors and have full length mirrors throughout. We also have three rooms/areas for Music Tuition as well as a large lobby area, changing rooms and a shop stocking dancewear and instrument accessories.

Our classes range in age from as young as 18 months, right the way through to adult classes and from beginner to Advanced Level.

We are very fortunate to have teachers that have a wealth of professional performing experience between them, including lead roles in the west end, The Royal Opera House and working with world renowned choreographers. Their teaching experience is extensive and includes teaching at numerous professional Performing Arts Schools across the UK.

100% Success Rate

We offer the opportunity to take exams in ballet, tap, modern and musical instruments with an outstanding 100% pass rate. We also run a 2 year GCSE Dance course. We have at least one annual full length show per year as well as many other performing opportunities throughout the year and also regularly hold workshops and a full Summer School Programme.

Many of our students have progressed to professional dance and musical theatre schools, including The Royal Ballet School, Arts Educational and London Contemporary Dance School, amongst others, and are now enjoying successful careers in The Arts.

Our aim at The Octagon is to inspire passion and love for the arts and encourage each and every pupil to achieve their full potential.
